Miss Sohee designs the annual Christmas tree

For the V&A Christmas Tree installation in 2022, Miss Sohee joined a distinguished lineage of guest designers—including the likes of Alexander McQueen—when she was invited to reimagine the museum’s annual Christmas tree. Interpreting the festive icon as a dramatic couture ensemble, she transformed it into a three-metre veiled figure inspired by the religious statuary found throughout the museum. The installation featured a silk chiffon cape layered over a crepe de chine gown, intricately embellished with star-inspired embroidery and Swarovski crystals.

Renowned for her voluminous silhouettes, ethereal designs, and commitment to sustainable practices, Miss Sohee has captivated the global fashion and design community. Her Peony Gown couture ensemble was also on display in Hallyu! The Korean Wave until 25 June 2023.
