The Founder and Creative Director Sohee Park, known as “Miss Sohee” is a Couturier based in London.

Miss Sohee is greatly inspired by the founder’s Korean heritage and her penchant for antiques and old natural objects, reflected in the shapes and silhouettes of her collections. Romantic motifs and Korean Minhwa paintings play a similarly important role in constructing Miss Sohee’s visual language, found in the intricate embroidery and colours of the designs. The pieces act as works of art, creating an emotional bond between the founder’s vision and their wearers, adding touches of artistry to Miss Sohee’s work. To emphasise the importance of craftsmanship and innovation at Miss Sohee, Park continuously reinterprets the old through her contemporary lens.

As seen in the likes of Cardi B, Bella Hadid, Ariana Grande, Gemma Chan and Naomi Campbell to name a few, Miss Sohee continues to explore the craftsmanship and artisanal message behind couture through collaborating with celebrities for special moments. Being called one of the most exciting names in red-carpet dressing by Harper’s Bazaar UK and a “true artist” by Vogue France, Park’s creations frequently appear on notable red carpets, such as The MET Gala, The Cannes Film Festival, and the Oscars Red carpet.

On top of being included in the Forbes 30 Under 30 list for Europe and South Korea and the Business of Fashion 500,  Park has also had her looks featured in international exhibitions, namely “Hallyu! The Korean Wave” at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London and “The Love of Couture: Artisanship in Fashion Beyond Time” at the K11 MUSEA in Hong Kong. In 2022, Park was invited as the guest designer to design the Christmas Tree at the Victoria & Albert Museum.

Bespoke Couture

The Miss Sohee atelier employs traditional couture techniques passed down generations while acknowledging their modern application in creating beautiful bespoke designs.

The brand’s aesthetic universe rests on the notion that art and design are inextricably linked.

Drawing from her fine art background, Sohee Park applies embroidery onto big voluminous shapes, which she likens to painting on canvas. Silk taffeta, moiré and soft gazars are transformed into exuberant pieces of art as the designer sketches directly onto the silhouettes.
